If you are unable to work due to illness, you may be entitled to daily sickness benefits, depending on your assignment and insurance situation. Please note the following:
- A valid medical certificate is required in order to claim benefits
- There must be an active assignment contract at the time of the sick leave
- From the 3rd day of illness, daily sickness benefits may be paid (depending on your insurance coverage); the first two days are considered waiting days
- Benefits will be paid once the insurance payment is received by Adia
- For longer absences, it is important to submit follow-up medical certificates regularly and without interruption
Important:
The medical certificate must reach us within four weeks of the first sick day in order to be forwarded to the insurance on time.
Certificates submitted after this period cannot be considered.
More information about loss-of-income insurance can be found in your framework contract under section 4.7 or via the following link:

Please send your medical certificate (and any follow-ups) to:

The entitlement to daily sickness benefits is always assessed by the insurance company. We have no influence on the decision.
